HUZAR was established in 2001 as a continuity of onother firm founded in 1997. We have been producing high quality bee honey from the very beggining. As a result of the expansion of our markets and productivity, Huzar invests in new technologies, that ensure a constant, high quality of our honey.
In 2001 the board decided to implement the ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Two years later they implemented the HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points). The company not only produces and sells its products. Huzar has also ordered research at the Heart Surgery, Organs and Transplantology Clinic of the Collegium Medicum. The results proved the very positive influence of bee honey on healing heart diseases and vascular system diseases, which is stated in the certificate provided by the Clinic.
The Huzar company has been awarded many prizes. Among them is the Consumers’ Quality Mark, for buckwheat honey and beautifully designed jars. The company has also received the „Best in Poland” award wich is the equivalent of the promotional „Good, because it’s Polish” emblem. In the end of 2005 Huzar received the „2005 Business Gazelles” award, wich is given to companies with the highest development rate. The prize that is most valuable for us is the satisfaction of our clients, for whom we work everyday.
